The second issue of “Buried Treasures” perfectly complements the first. Donovan’s guitar and singing are crystalline, The tune “The Crush” is –thematically and musically–at home in its setting of the idealistic 1970s, “The Crush” would have been a perfect collaboration between Donovan and his friend George Harrison. “Corsica” is a gentle, soothing song which calls to mind Donovan on horseback in the Greek isles.

Another wonderful collection of early Donovan material. This early album contains many of my favourite songs. This album was largely responsible for my interest in learning to play the guitar.

Marvellous album. I always wondered what influenced the songs on this album since so many of them seem to be about nature and the coast and what you find there.

Another gem from Donovan the songs i feel were a departure from his previous work and in my view it works as it shows another aspect to his writing skills,would love to hear an expanded issue of this album if their are any tracks by the band still not released

Great to hear these songs and thanks Donovan for having taken the time and effort to rerecord them ,its a pity we cant have the original score ,but thats life ,also love to see this album available in cd format

This album is a fantastic return to form ,Donovans voice has never sounded better and the songs though some date from an earlier period in his career have been revamped and sound brilliant ,praise to the boys in the band for adding such lovely jazz tinged touches to the songs.

yet again Donovan delivered the goods,fantastic songs presented to us in a beautiful box ,this 2 album collection set a standard that alot of other artists at that time would find very hard to follow
