This January and every January the Scottish Poet Robert Burns is celebrated and at the Poets birthplace Ayrshire in Scotland is the River Doon of his poem. The River Doon is in danger so I am helping The Ayrshire Rivers Trust to Save The River Doon. Please help me do that and buy this new recording of Burns poem which I have put to my new melody.
In 2011 SCOTTISH POWER wanted to divert water from The Doon to The River Dee to comply they said with European water rules. It’s amazing that Europe can tell a Scottish River what to do! Through local council action this was stopped for now but I am told The Doon is still in danger so the recording is a Fund Raiser for The Ayrshire Rivers Trust.
Thank You!
