ABC Carpet & Home will host an intimate concert and conversation with iconic musician and poet Donovan on Tuesday, May 1st at 6:30pm. The event will celebrate Donovan’s induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with a reception and concert for 200 esteemed guests in Deekpak Homebase, a unique space for visual, sonic and spiritual
collaboration.
To conclude the evening, visionary futurist Dr. Deepak Chopra will lead an intimate discussion with Donovan about his
inspired commitment to amplifying peace, love and divinity through music. “Donovan has been an icon of the human potential movement in using lyrics and music to transform consciousness and promote peace and tranquility.
I am looking forward to reconnecting and having a memorable conversation,” remarked Deepak Chopra, a longtime friend and collaborator. In addition to Donovan’s Hall of Fame induction, the event will celebrate the release of The Essential
Donovan, a 36-song double-CD collection of his seminal recordings from 1965-1973. The album will
be available for purchase at the event, as will the recently released David Lynch Foundation box set that
features 34 exclusive tracks by world-renowned artists such as Donovan, Ozomatli, Maroon 5, Peter Gabriel, Iggy Pop and Moby.
